The VALUE COLLECTION 2110058335 is a knotted cup brush designed for aggressive surface preparation, rust removal, weld cleaning, and scale removal on metal workpieces. It features a 4-inch brush diameter and uses 0.014-inch diameter brass wire arranged in a single-row, knotted configuration. Knotted fill construction delivers more aggressive cutting action than crimped styles, making it well suited for heavy deburring and surface conditioning tasks. The threaded 5/8-11 arbor hole mounts directly to standard angle grinders and bench grinders. A maximum rated speed of 8,500 RPM keeps it within safe operating limits for most 4-inch grinder spindles.
This cup brush is used across metalworking, fabrication, maintenance, and light industrial applications. It is a common choice for HVAC fabricators cleaning sheet metal edges, plumbers deburring pipe ends, and general maintenance technicians removing oxidation or mill scale from steel and copper surfaces. The brass wire fill is appropriate for use on softer base metals or in applications where ferrous wire contamination must be avoided, such as stainless steel prep work or copper tubing cleaning prior to soldering.
Designed to fit angle grinders and bench grinders with a standard 5/8-11 threaded spindle, which is the most common arbor size on 4-inch and 4.5-inch angle grinders used in trade and industrial settings.
This brush is installed and serviced by machinists, fabricators, and trade technicians using standard angle grinders or bench grinders. Always confirm the tool spindle RPM rating meets or exceeds the brush maximum RPM before mounting. Thread the brush onto the 5/8-11 spindle by hand until fully seated, then operate the tool briefly at low speed before applying to the workpiece to confirm secure seating. Always wear appropriate eye protection, face shield, and gloves when operating wire cup brushes, and inspect the brush for damaged or missing wires before each use.
