The VALUE COLLECTION 205 00426 is a 3/8-inch diameter galvanized steel aircraft cable wire rated for demanding rigging, lifting, and tensioning applications. Built with a 7 x 19 strand core construction, this cable delivers a breaking strength of 14,400 pounds, making it well suited for high-load overhead and support work. The galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance in exposed or outdoor installations. This product is sold in 1-foot increments with a minimum order quantity of 100 feet, allowing job-site-appropriate lengths to be specified without waste. It is commonly installed by riggers, millwrights, and general contractors working on structural or mechanical support systems.
This aircraft cable wire is used across a wide range of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure applications where high tensile strength and reliable strand integrity are required. Typical uses include overhead rigging, safety lines, cable trays, guy wires, and mechanical linkage systems. The 7 x 19 strand core configuration provides a balance of flexibility and strength appropriate for sheave-based pulley systems and fixed-end terminations. Galvanized finish makes it suitable for outdoor and semi-exposed environments where bare steel would be vulnerable to oxidation.
Designed as a general-purpose 3/8-inch galvanized aircraft cable suitable for use with standard cable hardware, end terminations, and rigging components rated for this diameter and strand configuration.
Installation should be performed by qualified riggers or tradespeople familiar with wire rope termination techniques and applicable load ratings. Always de-energize or unload any mechanical system before attaching or replacing cable. Use properly rated swage sleeves, cable clamps, or end fittings sized for 3/8-inch wire rope. Inspect the cable for kinks, broken strands, or corrosion before placing it in service.
