The VALUE COLLECTION 204-2532 is an ER25 series collet designed to hold 0.5 inch (1/2 inch) round tooling in ER25-compatible collet chucks. It delivers a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, making it suitable for milling, drilling, reaming, and tapping operations where concentricity matters. The collet weighs 3 pounds and follows the standard ER25 spring collet geometry, with the clamping range and taper profile common to that series. Machinists and toolroom technicians install and remove these collets using a standard collet nut wrench. This part ships as a single collet.
ER25 collets are widely used in CNC machining centers, manual milling machines, and drill presses equipped with ER25 collet chucks. The 0.5 inch bore size accommodates standard half-inch shank end mills, drill bits, reamers, and taps. This collet is suited for both production shop environments and toolroom applications where a reliable, accurate workholding solution is needed for common shank sizes.
Designed as a standard ER25 spring collet replacement or addition for any ER25-compatible collet chuck body and nut system.
Installation and removal should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician with the machine spindle fully stopped and the machine powered down. Use the correct ER25 collet nut and a properly sized spanner or collet nut wrench to seat and torque the collet. Inspect the collet bore and chuck body for chips or debris before seating, as contamination directly affects TIR. Do not exceed the collet clamping range for the listed bore size.
