The VALUE COLLECTION 183-6775 is a single-end corner rounding end mill designed to produce consistent radius profiles on ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece edges. Built from M2 high speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, this tool offers improved surface hardness and wear resistance compared to uncoated HSS. It carries a 1-1/8 inches mill diameter and an 11/32 inches corner radius, with four right-hand flutes that promote efficient chip evacuation during milling operations. The 3/4 inches shank diameter provides solid tool holding in standard ER or end mill collet chucks. This cutter is suited for manual mills, CNC machining centers, and knee mills used in job shops, maintenance, and production environments.
Corner rounding end mills in this diameter range are commonly used in metalworking applications where sharp edges must be radiused for part fit-up, stress relief, or finish requirements. This tool is appropriate for light to moderate duty passes on steel, aluminum, and similar machinable alloys. It is typically installed in a vertical milling machine or CNC machining center by machinists and toolmakers working to print-specified edge break or radius callouts. The right-hand cutting direction makes it compatible with conventional right-hand spindle setups.
Designed as a standard corner rounding end mill for use in vertical milling machines and CNC machining centers accepting a 3/4 inches shank with right-hand spindle rotation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine powered down and the spindle fully stopped before tool changes. Seat the shank fully into the collet or end mill holder and torque the retention hardware according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or coating damage before use. Always verify spindle speed and feed rate against published HSS cutting data for the workpiece material before beginning the cut.
