The VALUE COLLECTION 183-6460 is a single-end corner rounding end mill designed to machine precise convex radius profiles on workpiece edges. Built from M2 high speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, this tool delivers hardness and wear resistance suitable for general-purpose milling operations in steel, aluminum, and non-ferrous materials. It features a 2.25-inch mill diameter, a 23/32-inch corner radius, and a 1-inch shank diameter. The 4-flute, right-hand cutting and flute geometry provides smooth chip evacuation and consistent surface finish. This end mill is typically installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals in both manual and CNC machining environments.
This corner rounding end mill is suited for edge-profiling operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals in production and job-shop settings. The 23/32-inch radius is appropriate for medium-to-large radius blending applications where a consistent, smooth convex edge is required. The 1-inch shank provides rigid tool holding in standard end mill holders, collet chucks, and milling machine spindles. The TiN coating extends tool life compared to uncoated HSS, making it practical for repeated production runs without constant tool changes.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement-grade corner rounding end mill for use in standard milling machines, CNC machining centers, and manual knee mills accepting a 1-inch straight shank end mill holder.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling professional. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before mounting or removing the end mill. Secure the 1-inch shank firmly in the tool holder to the appropriate clamping specification for the holder type in use. Inspect the cutting edges and TiN coating for chips or wear before each use, and follow the machine manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for HSS tooling.
