The VALUE COLLECTION 182-6247 is a single-end corner rounding end mill designed to machine consistent radius profiles on workpiece edges and corners. Built from M2 high speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, it delivers reliable cutting performance across a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The tool features a 3/8 inch radius, a 1-1/4 inch mill diameter, and a 1/2 inch shank diameter. Four right-hand flutes with a right-hand cutting direction provide smooth chip evacuation and stable edge engagement. Machinists and tool and die professionals use this end mill in manual mills and CNC machining centers for edge-finishing and form-milling operations.
This corner rounding end mill is suited for general-purpose radius milling in job shop, production, and maintenance machining environments. It applies to applications where a clean, uniform corner radius is required on steel, aluminum, and similar machinable materials. The 1/2 inch shank fits standard R8, CAT, BT, and straight-bore toolholders commonly found in vertical machining centers and manual knee mills. A single-end configuration keeps the tool compact and easy to index in the holder. This tool is appropriate for prototype work, mold and die, and repetitive production runs where edge profile consistency is critical.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard cutting tool for vertical mills and CNC machining centers accepting a 1/2 inch straight shank end mill holder.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel. Secure the 1/2 inch shank fully into a clean, undamaged collet or end mill holder and torque the drawbar or retention knob according to the machine manufacturer specifications before running. Inspect the cutting edges and shank for damage before each use. Always bring the spindle to the correct RPM for the material and tool diameter before engaging the cut, and never exceed the tool manufacturer recommended feed and speed parameters.
