The VALUE COLLECTION 156400002000005 is a combination drill and countersink designed to drill a pilot hole and countersink in a single pass. Made from high-speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, this tool accepts a No. 2 trade size and features a 3/16 inch body diameter. The 5/64 inch drill point diameter and 5/64 inch drill point length make it well suited for preparing wood, plastic, and soft metal surfaces for flat-head fasteners. At 5 inches overall length, it fits standard drill chucks and is classified as a long-length tool. Machinists, fabricators, and general trade professionals install this type of tool in hand drills or drill presses.
This combo drill countersink is used in a wide range of trade and production applications wherever a countersunk hole is needed prior to fastener seating. It is appropriate for residential and light commercial woodworking, metal fabrication, and assembly operations. The right-hand cutting direction and plain cutting edge style make it compatible with conventional drilling equipment. The double end type and 60-degree included angle are standard configurations for general-purpose countersinking work. It is sold individually and is intended for repeated use in low-to-medium volume production or service tasks.
Designed as a general-purpose replacement or addition for standard combo drill countersink applications requiring a No. 2 trade size, 3/16 inch body diameter, and 60-degree included angle in high-speed steel.
This tool is installed by machinists, fabricators, or skilled tradespeople using a hand drill or drill press. Secure the tool firmly in the chuck before operation and confirm the spindle speed is appropriate for the workpiece material. Inspect the cutting edges for wear before each use, as a dull countersink can cause surface tearout or off-angle seating. Do not exceed the recommended speed range for the material being worked.
