Constructed from galvanized malleable iron, it carries a Class 150 pressure rating with 300 psi working pressure for liquid and gas service and 150 psi for steam service. This coupling is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and gas technicians wherever a straight inline threaded connection is needed in black or galvanized iron pipe systems. The galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance suited to both interior and exposed installations.
