Installation Notes

Socket weld caps are installed by a qualified pipefitter or welder in accordance with applicable codes such as ASME B31.1 or B31.3. Depressurize and isolate the piping system completely before cutting into any existing line. Do not use socket weld fittings on systems requiring full-bore flow-through termination.
