The VALUE COLLECTION 116AL25060 is a liquid-filled analog pressure gauge designed for monitoring system pressure in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial fluid-handling applications. It features a 2.5-inch dial with a 0 to 60 psi range and a 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount connection. The stainless steel case and stainless steel wetted parts make it well-suited for wet, corrosive, or vibration-prone environments. Glycerine fill dampens needle movement caused by pressure spikes and vibration, improving readability during active system operation. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters are the typical installers for this type of instrument.
This gauge is appropriate for residential and light commercial installations where a durable, corrosion-resistant pressure-monitoring instrument is needed. Lower-mount configuration positions the process connection at the bottom of the gauge, which is the standard orientation for panel and pipe-mounted applications. The 2.5-inch dial size is a common field-service format, readable from close range on boilers, chillers, pumps, compressors, and pressurized water systems. The glycerine fill supports use in environments with mechanical vibration or pulsating pressure.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for systems using a 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount port in residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC, and fluid-handling applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and IPC or IFGC guidelines. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing an existing gauge or installing this unit. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads and tighten to a snug, leak-free fit without over-torquing the stainless steel body. Do not use the dial face or case as leverage during installation.
