The VALUE COLLECTION 116AL20100 is a liquid-filled analog pressure gauge designed for monitoring system pressure in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial fluid applications. It features a 2-inch dial with a 0 to 100 psi range and connects via a 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount fitting. The stainless steel case and fully stainless wetted parts make it suitable for use with water, mild chemicals, and other compatible media. Glycerine fill dampens needle vibration and protects the Bourdon tube mechanism in high-vibration or pulsating-pressure environments. Accuracy is rated at plus or minus 3-2-3 percent of scale. Licensed tradespeople and facilities maintenance technicians are the typical installers.
This gauge is well suited for residential and light commercial installations where a compact, corrosion-resistant pressure indicator is needed. Common applications include boiler systems, chilled water loops, compressed air lines, water supply systems, pump discharge monitoring, and pool or spa equipment pressure ports. The lower-mount configuration positions the inlet at the bottom of the gauge, which is the standard orientation for pipe-mounted or manifold-mounted installations where the gauge sits upright above the process connection.
Designed as a general-purpose replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for systems using 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount connections with operating pressures up to 100 psi.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified maintenance professional. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing an existing gauge or installing this unit. Apply thread sealant tape or a compatible pipe compound to the NPT threads before threading in — do not overtighten, as stainless fittings can gall. Verify that the process media is compatible with stainless steel wetted parts before placing the gauge in service.
