The VALUE COLLECTION 116AL20060 is a liquid-filled analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in plumbing, HVAC, and light industrial piping systems. It features a 2-inch diameter dial with a 0 to 60 psi range and a stainless steel case with fully stainless steel wetted parts, making it suitable for mildly corrosive media. The glycerine fill dampens pointer vibration and extends the service life of the Bourdon tube under pulsating or dynamic pressure conditions. Accuracy is rated at plus or minus 3-2-3 percent of scale, meeting standard ASME B40.100 grade B requirements. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians install this gauge as a direct-reading instrument on low-pressure systems where a compact, durable solution is needed.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial applications including water supply lines, hydronic heating loops, compressed air systems, and chemical-compatible process lines where pressures do not exceed 60 psi. The 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount connection allows direct installation into standard tapped ports on manifolds, valves, pump flanges, or pipe tees. The glycerine liquid fill makes it particularly well-suited for installations near pumps or compressors where continuous vibration or pressure spikes are present.
Designed as an OEM-style or direct-replacement pressure gauge for any system with a 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount port rated within the 0 to 60 psi range.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified mechanical contractor. Depressurize and isolate the line before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads per IPC guidelines, and hand-tighten followed by a minimal wrench turn to avoid overtightening the stainless steel fitting. Do not exceed the maximum rated pressure of 60 psi on this gauge.
