The VALUE COLLECTION 112151 is a mounted flap wheel designed for precision surface finishing, deburring, and blending on metal and other hard materials. The wheel measures 0.75 inches in diameter with a 0.75-inch face width and uses aluminum oxide coated abrasive cloth at 320 grit, placing it in the extra fine grade category. The 0.125-inch shank mounts directly into a die grinder, rotary tool, or drill press. It is rated for a maximum of 35,000 RPM, making it suitable for high-speed finishing passes where tight dimensional control is required. Machinists, tool-and-die workers, and metal fabricators are the primary installers of this type of abrasive.
This mounted flap wheel is used for fine finishing and surface preparation in tight bores, slots, contoured recesses, and small-diameter workpieces where larger wheels cannot reach. At 320 grit extra fine, it is well suited for final-pass deburring, light stock removal, and pre-polish surface conditioning on ferrous metals, aluminum, and similar materials. It is commonly used in job shop, maintenance, and light manufacturing environments where consistent surface finish is a priority.
Designed for use with rotary tools, die grinders, and drill presses accepting a 0.125-inch shank. Suitable as a standard mounted flap wheel for general-purpose fine finishing applications on metal and similar hard surfaces.
Installation is performed by machinists or metalworkers using a compatible rotary tool or die grinder with a collet sized for a 0.125-inch shank. Before mounting, confirm the tool's rated RPM meets or exceeds the wheel's 35,000 RPM maximum to avoid operating above the rated speed. Secure the shank fully in the collet before powering the tool, and always wear appropriate eye protection and gloves during abrasive operations. Inspect the wheel for damage before each use and do not use a wheel that shows signs of deterioration.
