The VALUE COLLECTION 111CL20VAC is an analog vacuum pressure gauge designed to measure negative pressure in the range of -30 to 0 inches of mercury (Hg). It features a 2-inch diameter ABS case with a black dial face and a lower-mount 1/4-inch NPT threaded connection. Wetted parts are brass and the Bourdon tube is bronze, making it suitable for general-purpose vacuum measurement in HVAC, plumbing, and light industrial service. The gauge carries a 3-2-3 percent of full-scale accuracy rating and is non-liquid-filled. Licensed technicians and service plumbers install this gauge to verify vacuum levels in systems prior to or during service procedures.
This gauge is well suited for residential and light commercial applications where a compact, low-cost analog vacuum indicator is needed. Common install scenarios include HVAC evacuation monitoring, refrigeration service, plumbing vacuum testing, and general pneumatic system diagnostics. The 2-inch dial provides a readable display in tight equipment spaces. The lower-mount NPT connection allows direct inline or manifold mounting without additional fittings in most standard configurations.
Designed as a general-purpose replacement or add-on vacuum gauge for systems using standard 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount gauge ports in HVAC, plumbing, and light industrial applications.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians or plumbers depending on the system being serviced. Always isolate and depressurize or de-energize the system before connecting or removing a pressure gauge. Use thread sealant rated for the service fluid and apply it to the male NPT threads only, keeping it clear of the first thread to prevent contamination of the gauge internals. Do not overtighten the NPT connection; hand-snug plus a modest wrench turn is sufficient for a leak-free seal on brass fittings.
