The VALUE COLLECTION 01-1032 is a resinoid-bonded aluminum oxide fiber disc designed for aggressive material removal on metal, weld seams, and cast surfaces. The 4-1/2 inch diameter disc mounts via a 7/8 inch arbor hole and is rated to a maximum of 13,300 RPM. At 100 grit, it falls in the fine grade range, making it suitable for blending, light stock removal, and surface conditioning after heavier grinding operations. The fiber backing provides rigidity and durability under sustained pressure. This disc is intended for use by metal fabricators, welders, and maintenance technicians working with angle grinders.
This disc is commonly used in fabrication shops, manufacturing facilities, and field maintenance environments. Typical applications include deburring, weld blending, and surface preparation prior to coating or painting on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The fine 100 grit designation makes it a practical choice when a smoother finish is required after rough grinding, or when working on thinner gauge material where aggressive stock removal is not needed.
Designed as a standard replacement or consumable fiber disc for angle grinders accepting a 4-1/2 inch disc with a 7/8 inch arbor hole attachment.
Fiber discs are installed and serviced by metalworkers and maintenance technicians using angle grinders. Before mounting, verify the grinder guard is in place and confirm the tool RPM rating meets or exceeds the disc maximum of 13,300 RPM. Inspect the disc for cracks or damage before each use and never operate a damaged disc. Follow applicable ANSI B7 grinding wheel safety standards when mounting, operating, and storing abrasive discs.
