The USA INDUSTRIALS BULK-RS-SBR75-16 is a styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) sheet roll used for gasketing, padding, sealing, and surface protection in industrial and mechanical applications. It measures 36 inches wide and carries a Shore A durometer rating of 70 to 80, placing it in the medium-firm hardness range. The tensile strength is 800 psi, making it suitable for moderate-duty sealing and wear-resistance tasks. Plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance crews cut this material to fit custom gaskets, vibration pads, and protective liners. The black SBR compound performs reliably across a service temperature range of -20 degrees F to 170 degrees F.
This SBR sheet roll suits a wide range of trade and light industrial applications. It is commonly used to fabricate pipe flange gaskets, equipment isolation pads, conveyor liners, and door seals. The 36-inch width accommodates large custom cuts without requiring joins for most standard gasket and pad profiles. It is appropriate for residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC mechanical rooms, and general industrial maintenance environments where moderate chemical and abrasion resistance is needed. SBR offers good resistance to water and mild abrasion but is not recommended for oil, fuel, or solvent contact service.
Designed as a general-purpose SBR rubber sheet stock for fabricating custom gaskets, seals, pads, and liners in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial maintenance applications. Not intended for contact with oils, fuels, or aromatic solvents.
Cut with a sharp utility knife, die cutter, or rotary blade; use a straight edge and a sacrificial cutting surface to maintain clean edges. Shut off and depressurize any system before replacing existing gaskets or seals. Follow applicable codes such as ASME or ASTM standards for gasket materials when used in pressure-rated assemblies. A licensed tradesperson should perform any installation in regulated piping or mechanical systems.
