The USA INDUSTRIALS BULK-RS-N70-290 is a stock-length neoprene rubber strip rated at 70 Shore A durometer, measuring 6 inches wide by 60 inches long. Neoprene is a general-purpose synthetic rubber known for resistance to oils, weathering, and moderate chemical exposure. This strip handles a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 212 degrees F, making it suitable for sealing, gasketing, and vibration-dampening applications across HVAC, plumbing, and industrial mechanical work. Tensile strength runs 1000 to 1200 psi. At 70 Shore A, the material is firm but compressible, appropriate for medium-duty sealing and cushioning tasks.
This neoprene strip is used in a wide range of trade applications: cutting custom gaskets for ductwork flanges, pipe penetration seals, equipment mounting pads, and vibration isolators. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical contractors commonly stock neoprene strip material for field fabrication of seals and pads. The 6 inch by 60 inch stock size provides enough material for multiple cuts on a single job. Its black color and firm durometer suit both indoor and outdoor service environments where oil mist, moisture, or moderate UV exposure is present.
Designed as a general-purpose stock-length neoprene rubber strip for field fabrication of gaskets, seals, and vibration-dampening pads in HVAC, plumbing, and light industrial mechanical applications.
Cut to required shape and length using a sharp utility knife or die cutter on a flat, stable surface. For gasketing applications, ensure mating surfaces are clean and free of debris before installing the cut strip. When used as a vibration isolation pad under equipment, verify the durometer rating is appropriate for the load before placing equipment in service. No adhesive is required for compression-fit applications, but contact cement compatible with neoprene may be used when bonding is needed.
