The USA INDUSTRIALS BULK-PS-PE-7 is a high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic sheet cut to a nominal 1-foot length and 12-inch width, at 3/8-inch thickness. HDPE is a lightweight, chemical-resistant thermoplastic widely used in fabrication, lining, and structural applications across plumbing, industrial, and mechanical trades. This sheet ships in natural (off-white) color and carries a plus or minus 0.050-inch dimensional tolerance, making it suitable for close-tolerance cutting and machining. At 1.9 pounds per piece, it is easy to handle and machine with standard shop tools. Licensed tradespeople and fabricators use this material for gaskets, wear pads, pipe supports, tank liners, and custom bracket work.
This HDPE sheet is suited for light industrial and commercial fabrication environments where corrosion resistance, low moisture absorption, and machinability are required. Typical applications include cutting boards, chute liners, spacer blocks, and fluid-containment components in plumbing and mechanical systems. The natural color allows for easy layout marking before cutting. Its consistent thickness makes it practical for use as a stock material in shops that fabricate custom components to order or on-site.
Designed as a general-purpose HDPE stock sheet for fabrication and replacement part applications across plumbing, mechanical, and light industrial trades.
Cutting and shaping HDPE sheet is typically performed by maintenance technicians or fabricators using carbide-tipped saw blades or standard drill bits. No special permits are required for fabrication, but finished components installed in potable water systems should comply with applicable IPC or local plumbing code material requirements. Deburr all cut edges before installation to prevent stress concentrations or fit issues. Avoid prolonged exposure to open flame or temperatures exceeding the material thermal limits during fabrication.
