The US MOTORS H3P2D is a three-phase, premium efficient AC motor built for demanding industrial and commercial applications. Rated at 3 horsepower with a nameplate speed of 1765 RPM at 60 Hz, this motor features a Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled (TEFC) enclosure that protects internal components from dust, moisture, and debris in harsh environments. The cast iron frame provides structural rigidity and effective heat dissipation. With a 182 frame size and horizontal-footed mount, it drops into a wide range of standard motor bases without modification. Full load amperage is rated at 8.4 to 7.8 amps on 208 to 230 volts and 3.9 amps on 460 volts.
This motor is suited for general equipment and harsh-environment applications in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings. The multi-voltage winding accepts 208 to 230 volts and 460 volts at 60 Hz, and also supports 190 and 380 volts at 50 Hz, making it appropriate for both domestic and export installations. Typical applications include pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors, and other belt- or direct-driven equipment requiring a reliable, continuous-duty motor. Installation is handled by licensed electricians or qualified mechanical contractors familiar with three-phase motor wiring and mounting procedures.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation motor for three-phase general equipment and harsh-environment applications using a 182 frame, horizontal-footed mount configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. Disconnect and lock out all power to the circuit before mounting or wiring the motor. Verify supply voltage and phase rotation match motor nameplate ratings before energizing. Ensure the driven load is properly aligned and that mounting fasteners are secured to prevent vibration-related loosening during operation.
