The US MOTORS H2P1D is a two-horsepower, three-phase premium efficient AC motor housed in a TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled) cast iron frame. Rated for multi-voltage operation at 208 to 230 volts, 460 volts, 190 volts, and 380 volts, it supports both 60 Hz and 50 Hz systems, making it suitable for domestic and international equipment. The motor runs at 3505 RPM at 60 Hz and 2865 RPM at 50 Hz. Full load amperage is 5.4 to 4.9 amps at 208 to 230 volts and 2.4 amps at 460 volts. Insulation is Class F. The horizontal-footed mount sits in a 145 frame size. Licensed electricians and mechanical contractors typically handle installation on commercial or industrial drive equipment.
The H2P1D is designed for general equipment applications and harsh environment service. Its TEFC enclosure seals the motor interior from dust, moisture, and contaminants, making it appropriate for outdoor installations, washdown-adjacent environments, pump skids, conveyor drives, compressor loads, and similar duty cycles where open-drip-proof motors are not suitable. The horizontal-footed mount and standard 145 frame dimensions allow direct substitution on most equipment designed around NEMA frame specifications. Both 60 Hz and 50 Hz compatibility extend its usability to export equipment and facilities operating on non-standard supply frequencies.
