The UPONOR Q4757710 is a reducing tee fitting designed for use in ProPEX expansion-style PEX piping systems. It features a 3/4 x 3/4 x 1 inch nominal configuration, allowing a main 1-inch run to branch into 3/4-inch lines without additional adapters. The fitting is constructed from 20% glass-reinforced polymer, which provides added dimensional stability and pressure resistance compared to standard polymer fittings. Licensed plumbers and PEX system installers use this fitting in potable water distribution and hydronic applications where a single reduction and branch connection is needed in one fitting body.
This reducing tee is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing installations where ProPEX end-style connections are specified. The ProPEX system requires an expansion tool and PEX rings to create a mechanical connection at each end. This fitting integrates directly into UPONOR ProPEX plumbing systems, consolidating a tee and reduction into one component and reducing the total number of fittings in a given run.
Designed for use in UPONOR ProPEX expansion-style PEX piping systems with 3/4-inch and 1-inch nominal PEX tubing.
Installation requires a ProPEX expansion tool and appropriately sized PEX expansion rings for each end of the fitting. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the system before cutting into any existing lines. Follow all applicable plumbing codes, including IPC and local amendments, for PEX fitting installation and support spacing. Do not use with non-expansion crimp or clamp-style PEX connections, as the end style is not compatible.
