The UPONOR Q4751175 is a reducing tee fitting designed for ProPEX expansion-style PEX tubing systems. It provides a 1 x 1 x 3/4 inch nominal configuration, allowing a mainline run at 1 inch to branch off at 3/4 inch. The fitting body is molded from 20 percent glass-reinforced polymer, delivering the structural rigidity and chemical resistance required for potable water and hydronic distribution piping. Licensed plumbers and PEX system installers work with this fitting using a ProPEX expansion tool and the appropriate PEX expansion rings before making connections.
This reducing tee is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing installations where a ProPEX system is specified. Typical applications include domestic hot and cold water distribution, where a branch takeoff at reduced diameter is needed from a larger main supply line. The ProPEX end style requires a ProPEX expansion ring on each port prior to connection, making it compatible with standard ProPEX installation workflow.
Designed for use with ProPEX expansion-style PEX tubing and fittings systems in residential and light commercial plumbing applications.
Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber familiar with ProPEX expansion tooling and applicable plumbing codes such as the IPC. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the system before cutting into any existing piping. Use the correct ProPEX expansion tool and ring size for each port diameter before seating the fitting. Do not apply heat or solvents to this fitting.
