The UPONOR LF2897575 is a 90-degree ProPEX Copper Stub EII fitting designed for transitioning 3/4-inch PEX tubing to 3/4-inch copper pipe at right-angle installations. Constructed from low-lead brass and copper, this stub-out fitting is engineered for ProPEX expansion-style connections and is installed by licensed plumbers in residential and light commercial water distribution systems. The 4-inch by 8-inch form factor positions the copper stub at a fixed 90-degree offset, eliminating the need to bend or force flexible PEX tubing around tight corners or into confined framing cavities. Its copper and brass construction provides durability under sustained water pressure typical of domestic supply lines.
This fitting is used in residential plumbing rough-in applications where PEX supply lines must terminate at a 90-degree angle to connect to copper stub-outs at fixture or appliance locations. It is well suited for wall-mounted faucet connections, washing machine boxes, and similar applications where the tubing run changes direction sharply and must be secured within stud bays or framing. The fixed stub length and copper sweat end allow a direct solder connection to standard copper fittings or valves.
Designed as a ProPEX-style replacement fitting for 3/4-inch PEX to 3/4-inch copper transition applications in residential and light commercial plumbing systems using Uponor ProPEX expansion tooling.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the domestic water supply and depressurize the line before beginning work. The PEX end requires a ProPEX expansion tool and the appropriate ring size before the fitting is seated. The copper sweat end should be soldered using standard torch and solder practices after the ProPEX connection is complete and the fitting is secured in position.
