The UPLINK SECURITY LTE30ATT is a cellular alarm communicator designed to transmit alarm signals from a security panel to a central monitoring station over the AT and T LTE network. It serves as the communication link between a premises alarm system and the monitoring center, replacing older phone-line or broadband pathways with a dedicated cellular channel. Licensed alarm technicians and low-voltage security installers typically handle specification and installation of this device in residential and light commercial security system applications.
This communicator is suited for new installations and retrofit projects where a reliable, network-independent signal path is required. It connects to a compatible alarm control panel and uses the AT and T LTE cellular network to report alarm events, trouble conditions, and supervisory signals to a monitoring station. It is well-suited for sites where traditional POTS lines have been discontinued or where a cellular primary or backup communication path is specified by the monitoring provider or authority having jurisdiction.
Designed as an OEM-style cellular communicator for use with compatible alarm control panels that support LTE cellular communication modules.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or alarm systems technician in accordance with local licensing requirements and applicable electrical codes. Power down the alarm control panel and disconnect the backup battery before connecting or disconnecting the communicator module. Follow the panel manufacturer's wiring and programming instructions for communicator enrollment and central station reporting configuration. Verify cellular signal strength at the installation site before finalizing mounting location.
