Product Description

The UNITED ELECTRIC CONTROLS H100-193 is a general purpose diaphragm pressure switch designed for industrial and commercial pressure monitoring and control applications. It features an adjustable setpoint range of 20 to 500 psi with a deadband range of 4 to 30 psi, allowing field calibration to match system requirements. The dual SPDT contact form supports a wide range of control circuit configurations. Rated for 125V AC, 250V AC, and 480V AC as well as 24 to 30V DC and 125V DC operation, the H100-193 handles both low-voltage control circuits and line-voltage switching. The aluminum housing with a Type 4X enclosure rating provides corrosion resistance for demanding environments. Licensed HVAC technicians, instrumentation technicians, and industrial electricians are the typical installers.

The H100-193 is suited for residential, commercial, and light industrial pressure control and safety shutdown applications. The 1/2 inch NPTF female thread connection makes integration into existing piping straightforward. Typical applications include HVAC system high- and low-pressure safety circuits, compressed air systems, hydraulic control panels, water treatment equipment, and process piping where reliable pressure-actuated switching is required. The adjustable setpoint and wide voltage compatibility allow a single part to serve multiple system configurations across job sites.

Key Features

  • Adjustable pressure setpoint from 20 psi to 500 psi with field-configurable deadband of 4 to 30 psi
  • Dual SPDT contact form supports two independent switching circuits from one device
  • Multi-voltage rated: 125V AC, 250V AC, 480V AC, 125V DC, and 24 to 30V DC
  • Type 4X enclosure rating with aluminum housing for corrosion and wash-down resistance
  • 1/2 inch NPTF female threaded process connection for direct pipe mounting
  • SIL 2 and SIL 3 Safety Integrity Level certifications for safety-critical installations

Compatibility

Designed as a general purpose diaphragm pressure switch suitable for use in HVAC, compressed air, hydraulic, and process piping systems requiring pressure-actuated SPDT switching with 1/2 inch NPTF process connections.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified instrumentation technician in accordance with NEC requirements and applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit and relieve system pressure fully before connecting or disconnecting the switch. The NPTF thread connection requires appropriate thread sealant compatible with the process media. Verify setpoint adjustment and deadband settings against system design requirements before returning the system to service.
