The UBIQUITI u7-pro-max is a ceiling-mounted WiFi 7 wireless access point engineered for high-density, large-scale environments. It delivers 8 spatial streams across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, providing expanded capacity and reduced interference compared to previous WiFi generations. A dedicated real-time spectral scanning engine analyzes channel conditions continuously, enabling smarter channel selection and cleaner RF environments. The u7-pro-max covers up to 1,750 square feet and supports 500 or more simultaneously connected devices. It is powered via PoE+ and provides a 2.5 GbE uplink port. Licensed network engineers and IT infrastructure technicians are the primary installers for this unit.
The u7-pro-max is suited for demanding commercial and enterprise deployments including office buildings, schools, healthcare facilities, and hospitality environments where high device counts and consistent throughput are critical. The 6 GHz band support reduces congestion in spectrum-heavy environments. Note that 6 GHz operation is supported in select countries only. Multi-Link Operation (MLO) capability is planned and will be delivered via a future software update. Management is handled through the UniFi Network platform; real-time spectral analysis requires UniFi Network version 8.2.93 or later.

Installation is typically performed by a licensed network technician or qualified IT professional. Verify regional regulatory compliance for 6 GHz band operation before enabling that frequency band.
