The TWECO 1684-1801 is a conductor tube assembly designed for robotic MIG welding systems in the RA64 Series. Built for 400 amp welding applications, it is machined from a copper alloy tube that delivers superior electrical conductivity and cool operation even under sustained high-amperage loads. The outer surface is covered with an epoxy-coated, close-woven fiberglass sleeve that provides both insulation from the copper alloy tube and long-term durability in demanding production environments. A keyed design and brass-threaded nut secure the assembly firmly in place during operation. This part is installed by certified welding technicians and robotic welding system integrators.
This conductor tube assembly is rated for use in 400 amp robotic welding applications. The 45-degree configuration suits robotic torch setups where reach angle and joint access are critical. It fits within the TWECO RA64 Series robotic MIG welding torch platform and is suited for high-cycle industrial production environments where consistent arc performance and thermal stability are required. The rigid, machined construction minimizes flex and movement at the connection point, supporting repeatable weld quality across automated cycles.
Designed for use with the TWECO RA64 Series robotic MIG welding torch platform in 400 amp applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welding technician or robotic systems integrator. De-energize and lock out the welding power source and robotic system before removing or installing the conductor tube assembly. Ensure the keyed alignment is properly seated before tightening the brass-threaded nut to avoid misalignment during operation. Inspect the fiberglass sleeve for damage before returning the system to service.
