The TWECO 1640-1136 is a metal conductor tube engineered for use with Tweco Eliminator MIG consumable systems. The conductor tube directs welding wire from the gun body through to the contact tip, maintaining electrical conductivity and precise wire alignment during the weld. Built from metal construction, this 45-degree angled tube suits applications where joint access or torch positioning requires an offset approach. Installation is performed by welding technicians and MIG gun service professionals during routine consumable replacement or gun assembly maintenance.
This conductor tube is intended for Tweco Eliminator platform MIG guns, including Compact Eliminator, Eliminator Pull, Eliminator Spool, and Standard Eliminator MIG Guns, as well as the flexible Knucklehead configuration. The 45-degree bend angle makes it well suited for welding in confined spaces or at angles where a straight tube would limit torch maneuverability. Sold individually, it fits into standard Eliminator consumable assemblies without modification.
Designed for use with Tweco Eliminator MIG Consumables and compatible with Compact Eliminator, Eliminator Pull, Eliminator Spool, and Standard Eliminator MIG Guns, as well as the flexible Knucklehead configuration.
Installation is performed by qualified welding technicians as part of MIG gun consumable maintenance. Disconnect and de-energize the welding power source and allow all components to cool completely before handling any gun consumables. Use manufacturer-specified tools for threading or seating the conductor tube to avoid cross-threading or damage to mating components. Follow the gun manufacturer's assembly sequence to ensure proper wire feed alignment and electrical continuity.
