The TWECO 1630-1110 is a 45-degree conductor tube designed for use with Classic No. 3 Professional MIG welding guns. The conductor tube is the forward-most current-carrying component in a MIG gun assembly, guiding the welding wire and transferring welding current from the gun neck to the contact tip. Constructed of metal, this part maintains electrical conductivity and mechanical alignment under the heat and spatter conditions typical of MIG welding operations. It measures 9.8 inches in length and weighs 0.5 pounds. Welding technicians and fabricators performing scheduled maintenance or component replacement on Classic No. 3 gun assemblies will find this a direct-fit serviceable part.
This conductor tube is suited for MIG welding applications in fabrication shops, manufacturing facilities, and field welding environments where Classic No. 3 Professional MIG guns are in service. The 45-degree neck angle is common in applications requiring access to joints with limited clearance, including horizontal and overhead welds. It is sold individually and is intended as a replacement part during routine gun servicing or after damage from heat fatigue or spatter buildup.
Designed for use with TWECO Classic No. 3 Professional MIG guns as stated by the manufacturer.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welding technician. Disconnect and power down the welding power source and allow the gun assembly to cool completely before disassembling the gun neck or removing the conductor tube. Use appropriate hand tools to avoid damaging the gun neck threads during removal and installation. Verify contact tip and liner seating before returning the gun to service.
