The TWECO 1560-1126 is a robotic gas diffuser designed for use in MIG welding systems with robotic and fixed automation conductor tubes. Machined from 360 brass alloy bar stock, it delivers consistent dimensional stability under demanding cycle loads. It accepts 16RS and 16RZ contact tips and is compatible with 5/64-inch conduit. Rated for medium to heavy duty welding applications up to 600 amperes, this diffuser seats a silicone O-ring that seals against the nozzle assembly to maintain shielding gas coverage during the weld. A licensed welding technician or automation integrator typically handles installation in production welding cells.
The 1560-1126 is suited for robotic and fixed automation MIG welding setups where repeatable tip and nozzle positioning is critical. A coarse thread machined on the outer surface allows REL24 series nozzle assemblies to thread securely over the diffuser body, keeping the nozzle locked in place throughout the welding process. The part number is rolled and stamped on the outside surface for fast identification during maintenance changeovers in high-volume production environments.
Designed for use with 16RS and 16RZ contact tips, 5/64-inch conduit, and REL24 series robotic and fixed automation nozzle assemblies in MIG welding applications.
Installation and replacement should be performed by a qualified welding technician or automation maintenance professional. Always de-energize the welding power source and allow all components to cool before servicing the gas diffuser. Confirm the O-ring is properly seated before threading the nozzle assembly to ensure an adequate shielding gas seal. Follow the equipment manufacturer's guidelines and applicable AWS safety standards during installation.
