The TWECO 1560-1117 is a brass gas diffuser designed for use with the Tweco Eliminator MIG gun series rated up to 600 amps. Machined from 360 brass alloy bar stock, this diffuser delivers consistent dimensional stability and reliable electrical conductivity in light to medium duty MIG welding applications. It measures 2.521 inches in overall length and features six 0.094-inch gas holes for even shielding gas distribution. A silicone O-ring seals the diffuser against the nozzle assembly, and a coarse external thread allows nozzle assemblies to thread over and lock in place during the weld. The part number is roll-stamped on the external surface along with the replacement O-ring number for fast field identification. Sold in a pack of 5.
This diffuser is suited for use with coarse thread nozzle assemblies on Tweco Eliminator front-end consumable systems. It accepts conduit liners for wire up to 1/16 inch and uses an M12 x 1.5-6g thread size on the conductor tube interface. Typical installations include light to medium duty MIG welding in fabrication shops, manufacturing lines, and structural welding environments where the Eliminator gun platform is the equipment standard. The replacement O-ring is part number EL54-1, Tweco stock number 1560-1118.
Designed for use with Tweco Eliminator series MIG guns rated at 600 amps and Eliminator front-end consumables using coarse thread nozzle assemblies. Compatible with conduit liners for up to 1/16 inch wire. Replacement O-ring is Tweco part number EL54-1, stock number 1560-1118.
Installation is performed by a qualified welding technician or MIG gun service professional. Always power down the welding system and disconnect from the power source before servicing front-end consumables. Thread the diffuser onto the conductor tube hand-tight, then verify the nozzle assembly seats and locks correctly against the coarse thread before returning the gun to service. Inspect the silicone O-ring for damage at each consumable change interval.
