The TWECO 1560-1114 is a brass MIG gas diffuser designed for use with the Tweco Eliminator series MIG guns rated up to 600 amps. Machined from 360 brass alloy bar stock, this diffuser delivers consistent dimensional stability and reliable electrical conductivity across medium to heavy duty welding applications. It measures 2.521 inches in overall length and features an M12 x 1.5-6g external coarse thread that allows nozzle assemblies to thread directly over the conductor tube. Six gas holes measuring 0.094 inches distribute shielding gas evenly around the weld zone. A silicone O-ring provides a secure seal against the nozzle assembly to prevent gas leakage during operation.
This gas diffuser is suited for medium to heavy duty MIG welding applications requiring up to 600 amps of continuous output. It is used in conjunction with coarse thread nozzle assemblies and Eliminator front-end consumables. Typical installations include fabrication shops, manufacturing environments, and field welding where consistent arc performance and reliable gas coverage are critical. The diffuser supports conduit liners accommodating wire up to 5/64 inches in diameter. The part number and replacement O-ring reference number are roll-stamped on the external surface for quick identification during consumable changeouts. Sold in a pack of 5 units.
Compatible with 600 amp Tweco Eliminator series MIG guns and Eliminator front-end consumables. Designed for use with coarse thread nozzle assemblies on properly configured MIG gun conductor tubes.
Installation and replacement of MIG gun consumables should be performed by a qualified welding technician or MIG gun service professional. Power down the welding system and allow the gun to cool completely before removing or installing the gas diffuser. Inspect the silicone O-ring for wear or damage at each consumable changeout and replace as needed using O-ring part number EL52-1. Follow the gun manufacturer's assembly procedures to ensure proper thread engagement and gas seal integrity.
