The TWECO 1560-1109 is a brass gas diffuser designed for use with the Tweco Eliminator series MIG guns rated up to 350 amps. Machined from 360 brass alloy bar stock, this diffuser delivers consistent dimensional stability and reliable electrical conductivity across light to medium duty welding applications. It measures 2.378 inches in overall length and features an M11 x 1.5-6G male thread profile with six 0.094-inch gas holes for even shielding gas distribution. A silicone O-ring provides a secure seal against the nozzle assembly. Sold in a pack of 5, this part is intended for installation by welding technicians and maintenance personnel performing front-end consumable replacement on compatible MIG welding equipment.
This gas diffuser is built for use with coarse thread nozzle assemblies on the Tweco Eliminator MIG gun series and Eliminator front-end consumables. The OD coarse threads allow the nozzle assembly to attach directly to the conductor tube. Suitable for standard duty welding operations up to 350 amps, this diffuser fits into light to medium duty fabrication and production welding environments. The part number is rolled and stamped on the external surface for easy identification during inventory and replacement. The replacement O-ring for this diffuser is part number EL52-1, also listed under stock number 1560-1108.
Designed for use with Tweco Eliminator series MIG guns rated up to 350 amps and Eliminator front-end consumables using coarse thread nozzle assemblies. Replacement O-ring: EL52-1 (stock number 1560-1108).
Installation should be performed by a qualified welding technician with the welding machine powered down and the gun cable de-energized before servicing front-end consumables. Thread the diffuser onto the conductor tube by hand first to avoid cross-threading the M11 x 1.5-6G male thread, then snug with appropriate pliers or a consumable wrench. Inspect the silicone O-ring for damage before assembly to ensure a proper gas seal. Follow the equipment manufacturer's procedures and applicable workplace safety standards when replacing MIG gun consumables.
