The TWECO 1450-1029 is a steel wound conduit liner designed for robotic MIG welding applications. It guides solid steel welding wire smoothly through the gun cable, reducing friction and maintaining consistent wire feed. At 4 feet in length and rated for wire diameters from 0.052 to 1/16 inch, this liner suits standard robotic torch setups where reliable wire delivery is critical. Welding technicians and robotic cell integrators install this part as a routine consumable replacement to maintain weld quality and reduce downtime caused by erratic wire feed.
This liner is intended for use with steel welding wires in robotic MIG gun assemblies. Steel wound construction is the correct choice when feeding solid or mild steel wire, as it provides the stiffness and wear resistance needed in high-cycle robotic environments. The 1450-1029 is compatible with TWECO PULSEMASTER and PullMaster MIG guns, as well as R44 and R45 series liner applications.
Compatible with TWECO PULSEMASTER and PullMaster MIG guns, and applicable to R44 and R45 series liner configurations. Designed for use with solid steel welding wire in robotic MIG welding systems.
Conduit liner replacement is typically performed by a welding technician or robotic cell maintenance tech. Power down and de-energize the welding system before removing or installing any torch consumables. Ensure the liner is fully seated and trimmed to the correct length per the torch manufacturer's guidelines before resuming operation. Do not use this liner with aluminum or flux-cored wire, as those applications require different liner materials.
