The TWECO 1260-1130 is a self-insulated copper MIG welding nozzle designed for use with Tweco No. 6 MIG guns rated up to 600 amps. It features a 3/4-inch bore diameter and measures 3.372 inches in length with a 1.187-inch outer diameter. The nozzle uses a 3-piece construction consisting of a housing cut and formed from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, a nozzle insert machined from solid brass, and a G7 silicone nozzle insulator. The recessed contact tip relationship of 0.125 to 0.156 inches suits higher heat applications. The part number is rolled and stamped on the outer surface for quick field identification. Installation and replacement of MIG gun nozzles should be performed by a qualified welder or welding equipment technician. De-energize the MIG gun and disconnect the welding cable before servicing front-end consumables. Thread the nozzle onto the conductor tube by hand until snug; avoid using tools that could damage the nozzle insulator or distort the copper housing.
