The TWECO 1230-1076 is a coarse-thread MIG welding nozzle designed for medium and heavy duty welding applications rated up to 300 amps. Machined from tellurium copper alloy bar stock, the nozzle housing delivers consistent dimensional stability and efficient heat dissipation across demanding weld cycles. The bore measures 0.625 inches with an outer diameter of 1 inch and an overall length of 3.302 inches. A recess contact tip relationship of 0.125 to 0.156 inches suits standard gas diffuser configurations. Licensed welding technicians and fabrication professionals install this nozzle as part of a water-cooled MIG gun assembly.
This nozzle is suited for medium and heavy duty MIG welding environments where sustained high-amperage output is required. It threads onto the outer jacket assembly of water-cooled conductor tubes, making it appropriate for industrial fabrication shops, shipyards, structural steel operations, and other applications that push welding duty cycles near the 300-amp threshold. The part number is roll-stamped on the external surface for fast identification during toolbox or consumable inventory checks. Each nozzle ships with a silicone spatter shield included in the pack.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement nozzle for water-cooled MIG gun assemblies using a standard coarse-thread outer jacket configuration rated up to 300 amps.
Installation is performed by a qualified welding technician or MIG gun service professional. Disconnect and de-energize the welding power source and allow the gun assembly to cool completely before removing or installing nozzle consumables. Thread the nozzle onto the outer jacket of the water-cooled conductor tube by hand until snug, then verify the spatter shield is seated correctly before resuming operation. Do not over-tighten; doing so can distort the thread engagement or damage the conductor tube jacket.
