The TWECO 1047-1077 is an air-cooled MIG welding gun rated at 400 amps with a 60% duty cycle when used with CO2 shielding gas. Built for light to medium duty fabrication, this gun accepts wire sizes from 0.035 to 0.045 inches and features a three-layer conductor tube construction consisting of a copper tube, silicon-resin glass insulator, and metal jacket. The 15-foot power cable provides reliable wire feedability and terminates with a Lincoln-style rear connection. The standard 60-degree conductor tube swivels 360 degrees around the handle and can be removed and replaced without pulling the conduit. Installed by professional welders and fabricators, this gun is designed for demanding production and shop environments.
The 1047-1077 suits a wide range of applications including farm maintenance, garage repair, production fabrication, artistic metalwork, and general shop jobs. The Lincoln-style rear connection makes it a direct fit for compatible Lincoln wire feeders. The fully insulated Mig-Kwik front connection allows fast connect and disconnect at the wire feeder, reducing downtime during consumable changes. Its heavy-duty construction and field-repairable split-half handle case make it a practical choice for ongoing production use where uptime matters.
Designed for use with Lincoln-style wire feeders. Accepts 0.035 to 0.045 inch wire. Compatible front-end consumables are available in a wide selection for this gun platform.
Installation and service should be performed by a qualified welding equipment technician. Disconnect and de-energize the welder and wire feeder before connecting or servicing the gun. Ensure the Lincoln-style rear connection is fully seated before initiating a weld. Follow all applicable welding safety standards and the feeder manufacturer guidelines when routing and securing the power cable.
