Product Description

The TWECO 1047-1031 is a 400-amp air-cooled MIG welding gun built for light and medium duty fabrication work. The gun accepts wire sizes up to 1/16 inch and features a three-layer conductor tube construction consisting of a copper tube, silicon-resin glass insulator, and outer metal jacket. The 12-foot power cable delivers consistent wire feedability and uses a Miller-style rear connection. The standard 60-degree conductor tube swivels 360 degrees around the handle for positioning flexibility and can be removed and replaced without pulling the conduit. Rated at 60 percent duty cycle when used with CO2 shielding gas.

This MIG gun is suited for farm shops, garages, production environments, maintenance and repair applications, artistic metalwork, and general fabrication. Its fully insulated Mig-Kwik connection allows the gun to be connected or disconnected directly at the wire feeder without tools. The oval grip handle is shaped to reduce operator fatigue during extended use. Front and rear spring strain reliefs protect the cable at both ends of the connection points.
