The TWECO 1040-1884 is a heavy-duty 400-amp MIG welding gun designed for demanding industrial and fabrication applications. Part of the VELOCITY2 SUPRA XT VSEHD line, this gun handles wire up to 1/16 inches in diameter and ships with a 15-foot cable assembly. It supports both spray transfer and pulse welding modes and operates on straight CO2 or mixed shielding gases. The three-layer conductor tube construction — copper tube, silicon-resin glass insulator, and metal jacket — threads directly into the front block for improved electrical conductivity and heat management. Licensed welders and fabricators working in high-output environments will find this gun built for sustained heavy-duty cycles.
