The TWECO 1026-1128 is an air-cooled fume extraction MIG gun designed to capture welding fumes directly at the weld source. Part of the Centrovac line, it handles wire diameters from 0.035 inches to 1/16 inch and comes with a 10-foot cable and Euro-style back-end connection. The gun is built for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty MIG welding applications. A vacuum vent at the front of the handle lets the operator adjust extraction rates on the fly, helping prevent over-extraction of shielding gas in confined spaces. When paired with the correct extraction system, the design is rated to remove over 95 percent of fumes generated at the arc.
This gun is suited for professional welding environments where fume control is a regulatory or operational priority. Typical installation scenarios include shipyards, offshore fabrication, tank and vessel shops, aerospace facilities, transportation manufacturing, and general fabrication floors. The Euro-style rear connection adapts to most competitive wire feeders, making it a practical retrofit or replacement option in shops that already run Euro-compatible equipment. The ergonomic handle features a knuckle joint configuration for articulate motion during out-of-position or extended welding runs.
Euro-style rear connection adapts to most competitive wire feeders. Compatible with wire diameters from 0.035 inches to 1/16 inch. Optional fume shrouds are available from TWECO for application-specific extraction optimization.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified welding equipment technician or trained maintenance personnel. Disconnect and de-energize the wire feeder and welding power source before connecting or disconnecting the gun. Verify that the extraction system flow rate is correctly matched to the gun per the fume extraction equipment manufacturer specifications. Consult applicable facility safety and ventilation codes when integrating fume extraction equipment into a production environment.
