The insert features an 80-degree diamond shape, a 5/8-inch inscribed circle, and a 1/32-inch corner radius, with a neutral hand orientation and a flat-top chip breaker geometry. It carries a negative rake angle and a honed cutting edge, making it well suited for stable, consistent material removal in demanding turning applications. This insert is designed for licensed machinists and tooling technicians working on CNC lathes and manual turning centers.

This insert is intended for turning, facing, and boring operations, with cast iron identified as the primary workpiece material.
