The TRU-MAXX TRU-RP305H is a hard-density disc backing pad designed for use with Quick-Change Type P abrasive discs. It features a 3/8-24 left-hand thread mount and a 1/4-inch shank, making it compatible with standard die grinders and inline power tools. Rated to a maximum of 20,000 RPM, this backing pad is built for high-speed surface preparation, finishing, and blending tasks. The Quick-Lok quick-change system allows fast disc swaps without additional tooling. Weighing 0.19 pounds, it is a lightweight component suited for extended use in fabrication, metalworking, and maintenance applications.
This backing pad is intended for use in industrial, manufacturing, and trades environments where quick-change abrasive disc systems are standard. It is typically installed on die grinders used by machinists, welders, pipefitters, and maintenance technicians performing weld blending, deburring, rust removal, and surface conditioning. The hard-density construction provides firm backing for consistent abrasive contact on flat and moderately contoured surfaces. It is sold individually and packaged as a single unit.

Installation is performed by machinists, fabricators, or maintenance technicians using standard die grinder equipment. Disconnect the tool from its air or power source before mounting or removing the backing pad. Thread the pad onto the spindle by hand in the left-hand thread direction, ensuring it is fully seated before operating. Do not exceed the 20,000 RPM maximum speed rating of the pad.
