The TRU-MAXX SZMFW13180 is a shank-mounted flap wheel designed for surface finishing, blending, and deburring on metal and similar materials. It runs on a 1/4-inch shank that mounts directly into a die grinder or drill press collet. The abrasive is aluminum oxide in a coated configuration rated at a very fine 180 grit, making it well suited for final-pass finishing and light stock removal. With a maximum speed rating of 20000 RPM, it keeps pace with standard pneumatic die grinders used in fabrication and maintenance shops. Machinists, tool and die workers, and metal fabricators are the typical users.

This flap wheel fits finishing operations where a flexible abrasive surface is needed to follow contours, reach inside bores, or blend weld seams without loading up.
