The TRU-MAXX FDT Z060-100-T is a 4-inch zirconia alumina fiber disc designed for aggressive material removal on metal, weld seams, and other hard surfaces. Running at a maximum of 15,300 RPM, this coated abrasive disc uses a resinoid bond to hold 60-grit zirconia alumina grains firmly against the fiber backing. The arbor hole attachment seats directly on a standard backup pad mounted to an angle grinder. Medium-grade grit makes it suitable for blending welds, removing rust, and shaping stock without leaving an overly coarse finish. Metal fabricators, welders, and maintenance tradespeople are the primary users of this disc type.

This disc fits standard 4-inch angle grinders and die grinders equipped with a compatible backup pad and 5/8-inch arbor. It is suited for use on ferrous metals, stainless steel, and other hard materials where zirconia alumina performs well under moderate to heavy pressure. The blue fiber backing provides rigidity while allowing the disc to flex slightly over curved workpiece surfaces. It is sold individually but requires a minimum order of 25 units per purchase.
