The TRU-MAXX 7133 is a coated abrasive belt designed for dry precision sanding and finishing operations on metal, wood, and composite surfaces. Measuring 1-1/2 inches wide by 60 inches long, this belt runs on standard narrow-belt sanders and is built for consistent material removal at a 240-grit, very fine grade. The aluminum oxide abrasive grain is applied in a closed-coat pattern over an X-weight polyester cloth backing, delivering durability and uniform scratch patterns suited to finish work and surface preparation in shop and field environments.
This belt is suited for light stock removal, deburring, and pre-finishing tasks in fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and trade service environments. The closed-coat aluminum oxide construction performs well on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, hardwood, and painted surfaces. At 240 grit, it is typically used in final or near-final finishing passes where surface smoothness and scratch consistency matter most. Dry operation only — do not use with coolant or cutting fluid.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement belt for narrow-belt sanders and finishing machines accepting a 1-1/2 inch by 60 inch abrasive belt.
Installation should be performed by a qualified operator familiar with belt sander safety procedures. Confirm the machine is powered off and unplugged before changing belts. Verify belt tension and tracking adjustment after installation and before resuming operation. Inspect the belt for tears or separation at the splice joint before each use and replace if damage is found.
