The TRU-MAXX 66253292103 is a cylinder-shaped aluminum oxide mounted point designed for precision grinding, deburring, and surface blending on metal workpieces. Manufactured to W227 point shape code specifications, it carries a 60 grit, medium grade abrasive that removes material efficiently without overly aggressive stock removal. The 0.5 inch thick head mounts on a 0.25 inch diameter shank measuring 1.5 inches in length, making it compatible with standard die grinders and rotary tools. Rated at a maximum of 30,560 RPM, it suits high-speed rotary applications common in fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and toolroom environments. Machinists, tool and die makers, and maintenance technicians are the typical installers.
This mounted point is intended for use with handheld die grinders, flex-shaft machines, and bench-mounted rotary tools accepting a 0.25 inch collet. It is suited for internal grinding of bores, ports, and cavities, as well as weld blending, edge chamfering, and light material removal on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The aluminum oxide abrasive construction performs well on steel, cast iron, and general-purpose alloys. It is sold individually per package, with a minimum order quantity of 5 units, making it appropriate for stocking in maintenance cribs or shop consumable inventories.
Designed for use with die grinders, flex-shaft tools, and rotary machines fitted with a 0.25 inch collet. Suitable for grinding and deburring ferrous and non-ferrous metals in general industrial and maintenance applications.
Installation and use of mounted points should be performed by qualified machinists or maintenance technicians familiar with abrasive tool safety. Always confirm the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 30,560 RPM rating marked on the point before mounting. Secure the shank fully into the collet and verify the collet nut is tightened to the tool manufacturer specification before operation. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection and follow applicable ANSI B7.1 abrasive safety standards during use.
