The TRU-MAXX 66253291636 is an aluminum oxide mounted point in the A37 wheel tapered edge profile, designed for precision grinding and deburring on metal surfaces. With a 60-grit medium grade and a vitrified bond, this mounted point delivers consistent stock removal and a controlled finish on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 0.25-inch-diameter shank fits standard die grinders and rotary tools, and the 1.5-inch shank length provides adequate reach for recessed or contoured work areas. Rated to 30,560 RPM, it is well-suited for high-speed tool use in production and maintenance grinding applications. Licensed tradespeople and machining professionals working in metal fabrication, toolroom service, or equipment repair are the primary users of this abrasive point.
This mounted point is used in die grinding, internal grinding, and surface blending on castings, welds, and machined components. The A37 shape features a tapered edge that makes it effective for working inside bores, slots, and other tight geometries. It is appropriate for both bench and portable die grinder setups in industrial, maintenance, and job-shop environments. The aluminum oxide abrasive is a general-purpose material suited for grinding carbon steel, alloy steel, and similar hard metals.
Designed as a standard A37-profile mounted point for use with die grinders and rotary tools accepting a 0.25-inch collet or chuck.
Mounted points are installed and replaced by machinists, tool-and-die workers, and maintenance technicians. Always confirm the tool spindle RPM rating meets or exceeds the 30,560 RPM maximum before mounting. Inspect the point for cracks or damage before each use and discard any damaged abrasive. Secure the shank fully in the collet according to the tool manufacturer's minimum insertion depth guidance, and wear appropriate eye protection during operation.
