The TRU-MAXX 505210 is a quick-change abrasive disc designed for aggressive material removal in metal fabrication, weld prep, and surface conditioning applications. At 2 inches in diameter with a 24-grit zirconia alumina abrasive, this disc falls in the very coarse grade range — suited for rapid stock removal, deburring, and initial surface prep on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The fiber backing provides durability under high-load grinding conditions. A silver-colored button and blue disc face make it easy to identify at a glance on the shop floor. Maximum rated speed is 25,000 RPM. It attaches via the TS (Type II) quick-change system, compatible with Type S mounting hardware.

This disc is intended for use with Type S and TS (Type II) quick-change disc holders and compatible right-angle die grinders or rotary tools. Typical applications include weld bead removal, edge grinding, rust and scale removal, and deburring on structural steel, stainless, and aluminum. It is commonly used by fabricators, pipefitters, and ironworkers in both shop and field environments. Compatibility

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by pressing the disc onto a compatible Type S or TS mandrel until it seats securely. Inspect the disc for cracks or damage before each use and do not exceed the rated maximum speed.
