The TRITON PRODUCTS B1-2-BK is a double-sided swinging pegboard panel system designed for high-density tool and parts storage in professional shop and maintenance environments. Each unit features a heavy-duty powder-coated steel frame with commercial-grade perforated high-density fiberboard (HDF) pegboard panels mounted on both sides. The swing-out design allows access to both faces of the panel, delivering 6 to 8 times the usable storage surface compared to a flat wall-mounted pegboard. Each system supports a 500-pound load capacity, making it well-suited for demanding trade and industrial use. Licensed contractors, shop managers, and facilities maintenance crews are the primary installers.
The B1-2-BK is built for tool cribs, maintenance rooms, shop floors, and any workspace where wall space is limited. It is ideal for mounting above workbenches, work stations, or other work surfaces. The system includes industrial-strength steel pivot wall brackets and all hardware required for secure mounting to solid concrete or block walls. Hollow stud walls require the use of 2-inch x 6-inch wood headers for proper support. Compatible with 70000 Series DuraHook locking pegboard hooks and accessories, which are recommended for the most secure tool retention on the swing panels.
Designed for use with 70000 Series DuraHook locking pegboard hooks and accessories. Mounts to solid concrete, block, or hollow stud walls (stud walls require 2-inch x 6-inch wood headers). Standard round-hole pegboard pattern is compatible with most commercially available pegboard hook systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified contractor or experienced tradesperson familiar with wall anchor systems and load-bearing hardware. Before installation, identify wall construction type to determine the correct fastener and header requirements. For hollow stud walls, 2-inch x 6-inch wood headers must be used to ensure structural support for the rated load capacity. Verify that the mounting surface and fasteners are rated to support the combined weight of the unit and its maximum tool load before use.
