The TRITAN 5202 ZZ is a double-row angular contact ball bearing designed for applications that require the simultaneous handling of radial and axial loads. It features a 25-degree contact angle, a 15 mm bore diameter, and a 35 mm outside diameter, making it well-suited for moderate-speed shaft assemblies where combined loading is a factor. The double-shield configuration retains grease lubrication and limits contamination ingress without requiring an external seal housing. A polyamide cage keeps the steel balls evenly spaced under load. Licensed HVAC, pump, and mechanical drive technicians regularly specify this series for motor shaft and fan assembly applications.
This bearing fits into rotating shaft assemblies found in light industrial machinery, HVAC blower and fan systems, pump drives, and similar power-transmission equipment. The double-row design increases load capacity relative to a single-row equivalent of the same bore size, making it appropriate where axial thrust loads are moderate and continuous. It carries a static load capacity of 1,500 pounds and a dynamic load capacity of 2,600 pounds. The round bore and standard 5200-series dimensions allow direct substitution in most OEM housings designed for that series.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for 5200-series double-row angular contact ball bearings requiring a 15 mm bore, 35 mm outside diameter, 15.9 mm overall width, and a without-flange configuration.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanical or HVAC technician with the shaft and housing fully de-energized and at rest before bearing removal or seating. Press or drive force must be applied to the bearing ring that directly contacts the mating surface - never drive through the balls or cage. Verify shaft and housing tolerances against the bearing series specification before pressing to seat. Follow applicable machinery safety lockout/tagout procedures per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 before beginning work.
